When Copa America fever hit Wynwood, Valspar took the hype up a notch with two interactive murals that brought the energy of the pitch straight to the streets. Perfectly timed with the tournament, these hand-painted murals weren’t just about art—they were an open call for fútbol fans to step up and prove their skills.
The first mural featured a goalie mid-dive, the kind of save that makes or breaks games. The second one? A net with a goalie staring you down, daring you to score. Inside the goal, circles labeled GOAT, LEGEND, AMATEUR, and TRY AGAIN set the targets. We set up a soccer ball for passersby to take their best shot and see where they stood. The ultimate aim? GOAT status, naturally. It was all about bringing the thrill of the game to the fans, testing their accuracy, and letting them live out that penalty-kick moment in a whole new way.
While the campaign spanned four weeks, the energy peaked during the three days we set up the interactive soccer ball experience, engaging with over 1,000 people who lined up to test their skills and aim for greatness. It was a high-energy environment where everyone had a shot at proving their skills.
